About the Role
As an Outreach Officer, you will be the face of West Cheshire Credit Union in your local area. Working flexibly across 20 hours per week, you will build relationships, raise awareness, and help people understand how the Credit Union can support them.
You’ll work within either:

Cheshire West & Chester, or
-
Crewe and surrounding areas
Your work will directly support individuals, families, community groups, and partner organisations.

Key Responsibilities

Promoting West Cheshire Credit Union within the community
-
Attending community events, forums, and local meetings
-
Building relationships with local organisations, employers, and support services
-
Raising awareness of savings, loans, and ethical financial alternatives
-
Supporting new members to understand and access our services
-
Acting as an ambassador for the Credit Union’s values and mission

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:

Passionate about community development and social impact
-
Confident engaging with people from all walks of life
-
A strong communicator with a friendly, approachable manner
-
Well-organised and able to work independently
-
Knowledgeable about the local area (or keen to learn)
Experience in outreach, community engagement, advice services, or financial inclusion is welcome — but just as important is your enthusiasm and commitment to making a difference.
